In the town of San Francisco Tepojaco, in Cuautitlán Izcalli, marines, soldiers, and elements of the Investigation Police of the Attorney General's Office of the State of Mexico arrested 11 individuals, including one woman, who may be related to the attack at the Bling Bling bar that occurred on Sunday, November 10. According to statements made to the Public Ministry, it will be determined if they participated in the incident.
Initially, the detainees were brought before the social representative of Cuautitlán Izcalli, but due to the risk of a rescue attempt by the local community, they were transferred on the night of Tuesday, November 12, to the Special Affairs Prosecutor's Office in Toluca. This was carried out through an operation that included elements of the Mexican military and the Investigation Police.
According to Emiliano Montiel, head of Social Communication of the State of Mexico Prosecutor's Office, the detainees were apprehended for alleged offenses in flagrante delicto, such as drug dealing. Their statements could link them to the massacre that occurred in the bar. It has been mentioned that at least one of the detainees may be involved in the multiple murder.
The transfer of the 11 suspects to Toluca was carried out in an operation that included two armored units of the state prosecutor's office protected by military personnel. It is expected that after the statements, the Public Ministry will determine if they are related to the massacre at the Bling Bling bar to proceed legally.
Regarding the survivors of the attack, different versions of the events have been presented. Some mentioned that the aggressors arrived on foot, while others indicated that they arrived in vehicles or motorcycles. This disparity in statements has generated the need to review surveillance cameras near the location to clarify what happened.
Among the five gunshot victims, there are two women and three men. An identification card from the Auxiliary Corps of the State of Mexico was found on one of them, indicating that he was a member until last August. Another individual apparently has a criminal record, and of the deceased individuals, five died at the scene and one upon arriving at a nearby hospital.
